We always welcome new clients to Animal Care Center. We have been providing the highest quality, compassionate veterinary service to our community for more than a decade.
Who We Are
We are a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital committed to providing the most sophisticated and advanced medical and surgical technology. Our team is highly trained in wellness and preventive care, veterinary medicine, rehabilitation, and surgery, for a complete program of care throughout the life of your pet.
Prior to your first appointment, fill out our New Client Form and submit in advance to save time at check-in.
When You Arrive
Upon your arrival at Animal Care Center, you are courteously greeted by a receptionist who makes sure we address all of your concerns. A technician then assists you in the exam room, obtaining medical background and symptom review.
A complete evaluation and examination is performed by the veterinarian. We provide ample time to address any questions or concerns you have, as well as to discuss treatment or diagnostic choices. We understand that the care of your animal family member is important, and we are committed to keeping you informed and involved throughout your visit.
Check Out
Following your appointment, one of our three receptionists assists you with check out. All diagnostic information, medical records, and medications go home with you that day. If your pet has been hospitalized, expect to visit with a doctor and or technician prior to your departure.
Payment Policy
We do expect payment for services upon completion, but rest assured that charges are discussed with and approved by you prior to any treatment. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.
CareCredit
We offer our clients CareCredit® Payment Plans. With CareCredit, you can say “yes” to the best treatment for your pet immediately and pay for it over time with low monthly payments that fit easily into your budget.

VetSource Prescription Service
We offer VetSource home delivery for our clients. This easy-to-use service saves you time by delivering all your pet’s needs right to your door, including prescriptions, medications, and prescription diets.
Pet Insurance
Many pet owners are now purchasing pet insurance to help them afford pet health care. We are pleased to provide you with copies of your pet medical records for submission to your insurance company. Simply discuss the matter with the receptionist at your next appointment or contact us for more information.

Animal Care Center Hours
One of our three veterinarians is available to see patients during regular business hours Monday through Friday. We offer appointments and drop-off service to meet the needs of our busy and working families. Clinic hours are:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 12 – 1 p.m.)
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Pet Boarding
We recommend our boarding and daycare facility, the Utah Dog Park. The Utah Dog Park has two locations; one in Davis County and one near the Salt Lake International Airport. Both are designed to provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for your pet. We offer a variety of services through the Utah Dog Park that include boarding, daycare, and a state of the art self-serve dog wash.
Pet Portals
All Animal Care Center clients are invited to open a Pet Portal. This gives you convenient access to your pet’s information online, especially handy after business hours or during busy times. In addition to ordering prescriptions online, your Pet Portal allows you to view your pet’s medical records, including:
- Complete and current vaccination record
- Exam status information
- Accurate prescription history
As an added bonus, your Pet Portal gives you access to a library of pet health articles from reliable veterinary experts. And Pet Portals are free—all we need is your email address.
